Water Based Silicone Water Repellent

Description

The attractiveness of masonry facades depends upon the retention of the original beauty. The use of silicone retards or prevents changes in the surface appearance by resisting the deteriorate effects of many types of weathering. Masonry should be thoroughly dry before Water Based Silicone Water Repellent is applied. Treatment should not be started if temperature is below freezing as the possibility of entrapped water exists. A spray application is preferred but brush on applications can be just as successful. Take care in making sure equipment is clean and gaskets and hose are solvent resistant. Coverage should be no more than 200 square feet per gallon for each application. For spraying use a coarse low pressure spray pattern and thoroughly wet the surface. hold nozzle about 6 inches from surface and move nozzle so that the solution runs down about 6 to 10 inches from the point of application.

Protect plants and shrubs from this product. It has been proven to have a harmful effect on many types of plants. Protect all shrubs and plants by covering with a drop cloth. For accidental contact with window be sure to clean as soon as possible. Unless removed, this product will cloud window glass to some extent.
